The multi-organization’s distributed workforce cross 6 datacenters and 30 different file shares required an efficient process workflow and governance to boost operational efficiency.

    The Challenge

    Our customer has a multi-organization structure and geo-distributed team in the United States, With 6 datacenters, 30 different file shares, and varied document collaboration practices coupled with a lack of proper control in place, the content was growing exponentially mostly with duplication of info thus impacting performance and searchability.
    Being in a File Share environment + legacy’s SharePoint environment our customer was also exposed to the additional risk of content governance and loss of support from Microsoft on Windows Server 2008.
