How to get a report of modern sites in O365?

There are only Team sites that are visible when you go to “Site Collections” section in O365 SharePoint admin portal and most of us don’t know where we can find group/communication sites. Don’t worry, we have a way to see the Group and Communication sites in our new SharePoint admin portal. Please follow the below-given steps to find them:

  1. Login to O365 SharePoint admin portal (Ex: https://YourTenantName-admin.sharepoint.com)
  2. Click the Try the preview button present at the top-right corner of the page. You can also directly try navigating to the URL –  https://YourTenantName-admin.sharepoint.com/_layouts/15/online/AdminHome.aspx
  3. On the left navigation, select “Active Sites” under “Sites” section.
  4. On the right side of the window, you can find all the sites.
  5. Search for your site by entering some keywords in the search box or by applying a filter on the columns.
